It's amazing how one can seemingly stumble upon greatness. Maybe not... Perhaps great artisans and their rabid fans so perfectly compliment each other that the symbiosis between them is rather preordained. I'll never forget the time several years past when I 'borrowed' a guitarist friend's copy of 'Street Lethal'. I kept it for about 18 months and listened to it incessantly. I know I'm in some good company when feeling that it is such a shame that Paul, and many other musicians of the highest caliber enjoy their greatest commercial, critical and pure fan-base successes overseas. A personal thanks from me to all of you who, along with a good number of us in The USA, can assist in promoting and maintaining a viable career and market visability for Pablo. I believe an old quote exists from a scribbling on the wall of a German opera house, espousing the idea that " Mozart gave us God's laughter, Beethoven gave us God's fire, and God gave us music so that we might pray without words." Fabulous players like Paul make those words ring true. I smile at the merest strais of finely crafted music. Thanks, Paul. I certainly hope to see you around again. I videoed your Ibanez/Laney clinic in Albany, NY a few years ago and gave you a bootleg of Racer X live at The Country Club in Reseda, '86. Thanks for the updates. Please stay in touch with my, webmaster fried, Kevin Ackerman. You've E-mailed hime a few times. Gotta go. God bless us all, and please continue blessing us with the fine products of your prodigy. Having met you, having followed your progects as closely as this crappy, over-commercialized music industry allows, I say confidently that it is your sense of fun, your wit and willingness to resist an 'inside the box' approach to crafting your own music and appreciating the work of others that makes you thorougly listenable and enthralling as a composer and performer. You are a complete package, and neither taste, talent nor formidable technique ! are absent, as is so often the case when I listen elsewhere. Can't wait to get ahold of some new stuff. Even my best friend, who is a far cry from a Racer X fan, just heard my copy of 'King Of Clubs ' and wants to know where he can buy it. Be great! ( and play around here soon!!!)

hi paul,
i think i'm your biggest austria fan - collecting your stuff from racer x days up to your last solo cd, available in austria (king of clubs). i hope that your new releases will be sold in europe soon. by the way, i also know your former collegue harry gschoesser from racer x - my brother in law jams sometimes with him - they play some free-jazz-stuff all the time! i hope that you'll be touring austria or south germany sometime - you'll meet me in the first line! keep on rockin'
MIKE

PS: don't get angry, but eric martin's solo album is almost as good as yours

Keep up the good work! The Japanese are lucky people to have Paul around so much! :-) I wish that people in the U.S. were so enthusiastic...
